与以往不同的是，此次演练除现役官兵外，还有120余名从参演部队退役的士官，南海军演，而且是实弹军演，竟然征召了大批退伍官兵参与，这的确说明南海局势紧张非凡，和平不能单相思，解放军必须有所应变与盘算，未雨绸缪。
召回大批退伍官兵在南海实弹演习，这预示着中国已经从最坏可能着想，那就是准备打仗。作为曾参加过对越反击实战的老兵，服役将近30周年的实践告诉我，军事演练特别是“带着敌情”的实弹演习，就是为打仗。
就是在实战打仗的背景下，模拟真实战场的敌情与我情，展开真枪真弹的实弹演习，争取赢得战场主动，一旦开战首战必胜。
此次南海实弹演练除现役官兵外，还征召了大批退伍官兵参与，表明解放军面对美国及其盟友的军事威胁与干涉，在南海已经从最坏的可能着想，那就是在军事冲突与磨擦难以避免的时候，随时准备打仗，打击一切敢于来犯之敌，用决心与实力坚决捍卫中国南海神圣主权。
粉身碎骨在所不辞，退伍官兵退伍不褪色，祖国号令就时刻准备上战场。实弹演习报道让我们看到，在导弹发射控制室，从深圳舰退役的导弹发射兵曾国彬紧盯前方屏幕，随时准备抗击来袭的空中目标。
曾国彬从事导弹专业16年，创新多项战法训法，服役期间曾随舰参加过两次亚丁湾护航和数十项中外联演，3次荣立三等功。曾国彬说：“经过这次的返岗训练，我的专业技能已经接近退伍前的水平，虽说不能像昔日一样始终处于维护国家主权的第一线。
但退伍不褪色，军人使命始终牢记在心，只要祖国一声号令，时刻准备上战场。”从深圳舰退役的导弹发射兵曾国彬，代表了所有解放军退伍官兵的心声，南海局势紧张非凡，只要祖国需要征召，只要祖国一声号令，为南海主权捍卫而时刻准备上战场，时刻准备打仗，哪怕粉身碎骨也心甘。
退役官兵南海实弹军事演练，旨在以作战任务需求为牵引，加速后备力量的战斗力生成。训练为打仗，军演为实战，这是任何有过军旅生涯的人都明白的道理。此次参与南海实弹演练的每个非现役官兵，身临其境更是深知此理。
远隔万水千，此时同样感受到了危险的存在，雨欲来风满楼，南海要想安宁和平，可由不得善良忍耐的中国啊！南海舰队军务部门负责人张宏俊介绍，此次参演的预编兵员均为近5年来退出现役的初级以上士官，专业对口，技术过硬，在经过短期的返岗训练后就能熟练操纵以往的装备。
这次演练，旨在以作战任务需求为牵引，通过多种手段，深化国防动员有关工作，加速后备力量的战斗力生成。据悉，这次预编兵员返岗集训为期1个多星期，先后进行了理论学习、港岸操练、海上实际使用武器和多样化军事任务演练等方面的训练，有效提升了退役士官随时应招，遂行海上任务的能力。
正告美国插手南海阴谋难得逞，中国军队不信邪不服霸，不害怕对手强加的战争。解放军不害怕对手强加的战争，可是必须有所应变与盘算，包括此次召回大批退伍官兵在南海实弹演习等应急举措。
